Pathway Homes, a leading developer of homes for vulnerable individuals and families, continues to grow and develop its portfolio in the face of wider economic uncertainty due to COVID-19.

With a number of new projects confirmed across the UK, the firm is preparing for any possible eventualities, bulk-purchasing essential building materials, as well as key household items, to ensure schemes are delivered in line with client timescales and expectations.

Chanel Williams, Director at Pathway Homes explained: “Our unique business model is being embraced by partners across the UK who are facing huge pressures to identify suitable accommodation for a growing number of vulnerable, homeless or at risk of homeless men and women.

“Whilst the Government has allowed construction and development works to continue, we are already seeing signs of shortages for all key build products and materials. We are working closely with our local and national supply chain teams to source, secure and store at our new warehouse in Merseyside.

“It’s incredibly important for us and those we work with to see handover of our schemes in line with our partners’ specific needs, providing essential housing for those that need it most.”

Pathway Homes Group has recently taken a large delivery of new furniture and white goods. The organisation will continue to purchase in bulk and store ahead of scheme completion, at which point the property can be furnished almost immediately.

Chanel added: “It’s important that the tenants have everything they would need to begin to help their house feel like a home. Having quality furniture and completed finishings forms a key part of our delivery promise.”
