Pathway Homes Group has reaffirmed its commitment to the delivery of much needed homes for vulnerable and homeless people across the country, in the face of the challenges presented by lockdown.

As the UK enters its second period of lockdown, many businesses are being forced to temporarily close or suspend services, however, the construction and property sector can continue to operate during the four-week period.

Chanel Williams, Director at Pathway Homes explained: “Whilst lockdown creates endless issues for so many businesses in the UK, and whilst there are inevitable challenges for us, our industry is considered exempt and we can continue to work on our sites.

“We’re creating vital homes for some of society’s most vulnerable people and any delays as we’re heading into Winter could have severe consequences. As such, we have reaffirmed our commitment to keep all sites open and aim to get all contracts across the line as soon as possible.”

Chanel continued; “Our office-based staff are largely working remotely, however, we have invested in sound IT infrastructure which means that any transition has been flawless. Communication with our site teams remains open and we have been proactive in our planning for the potential threat of a lock down, purchasing and storing essential materials and equipment.

“We will continue to update clients and partners in team of progress and are working incredibly hard to avoid any disruption.”
