Pathway Homes Group remain committed to supporting communities throughout the U.K., working with local organisations to positively impact the lives of the most vulnerable members of their localities.

Recently, PHG delivered vital supplies to St. Petrock’s, an Exeter-based charity, to support their efforts in helping the homeless during the winter months.

Due to the current Covid-19 restrictions, the charity is unable to take any donations at their premises, yet they have adapted to the current lockdown circumstances and now accept direct donations via an online wish list they have generated.

PHG were happy to provide numerous items that St. Petrock’s had requested: high-quality sleeping bags, foiled sleeping mats and knitted hats. These supplies are pivotal for homeless individuals and provide additional warmth for those in need.

A member of St. Petrock’s team, Lucy, stated: “we are very grateful for your support during these hard times”.

St. Petrock’s is a charity that offers services to homeless, those at risk of homelessness and vulnerable-housed individuals. In 2021, the organisation is celebrating their 25th anniversary and continue to provide a range of support, housing, and prevention services to help fill the gaps in services available to individuals in need.

From initial correspondence, PHG identified St. Petrock’s tireless efforts and commitments to help the homeless during this winter period, amidst another national lockdown, and were eager to offer a helping hand in whatever capacity was required.

Shaun Driscoll of Pathway Homes Group said: “Given the current restrictions that are affecting us all, in various ways, it can be easy to forget that there are people still out on the streets who need the help of local charities to survive. St. Petrock’s have been flexible at this vital time, adapting to continue to support homeless people the best they can. It was a pleasure to be able to contribute”.
