Pathway Homes

Pathway Homes Group (PHG) is proud to be working ahead of schedule for their Luton development, having already completed and handed over two properties to the housing association in a shorter timeframe than initially anticipated. This is largely due to the commitment of the developments Project Manager, Sandy Black, and the efforts of the construction team working to ensure these properties are renovated, refurbished and redecorated to the highest standard.

It’s been a short turnaround since the acquisition of these two properties with all work being completed much earlier than the initial deadline given. As a result, the properties are now ready for tenants to move in, which has greatly satisfied PHG’s partner organisations, housing association and support provider. More importantly, it will also have a positive impact on those most in need within Luton’s local communities who find themselves requiring housing and accommodation stability.

In a bid to create sustainable and comfortable homes for future tenants, PHG has completely transformed each of the six-bedroom mid-terrace properties in Luton. During the development process, there have been many highlights that give these properties that extra special touch and set them apart from others. They are built to the “Quality Homes Standard”, completely renovated and redecorated internally and externally, fitted with brand new kitchens, bathrooms and other appliances and furniture. The developer also ensures that each home meets health and safety standards and requirements.

The properties are being utilised by the housing association and support provider to assist those most in need within Luton’s local communities: families and individuals facing financial hardships and/or domestic issues, homeless individuals, those at risk of homelessness and veterans returning to civilian life.

PHG’s Project Manager for this Luton development, Sandy Black, stated: “It’s been a rewarding experience delivering these first two properties ahead of schedule. The construction teams have worked tirelessly to ensure each property meets the standards our organisation prides itself on. It was a real sense of achievement when we handed the keys over to the housing association much sooner than they had expected. We are looking forward to progressing with the other properties within the area and completing the development in the coming weeks and months”.

Amanda Trent, Regional Housing Manager for Creating Change Housing Management, said: “We’re really pleased that Pathway Homes Group has completed these properties sooner than we had originally anticipated. This puts us in a great position to begin supporting Luton’s local residents who have been waiting for suitable housing and accommodation”.

Working with partner organisations, local charities and community groups, PHG is looking to a brighter future for Luton’s local residents, having restored, renovated and developed properties that will positively impact the locality. The team is committed to completing the redevelopment of the outstanding properties within the Luton portfolio in the coming weeks and months, ensuring sustainable homes are delivered for local residents.

As the property handover has already begun, tenants are currently being housed and starting a positive new chapter in their lives now that they have the foundations for a more prosperous and happy future.
