Pathway Homes

What We Do

Investment

All Pathway Homes schemes are supported by a housing association and care & support operator on a variety of different financial lease models. We invest our time, resources and finances to understand the issues facing a community, partnering with organisations and bodies who engage and support vulnerable families and individuals. All of our schemes are fully supported by the local authority and nothing is built on a speculative basis.

According to research, an estimated 320,000 people are homeless in the UK. The widening net of poverty and the breakdown of mental health provision means numbers are growing. Between 4,000 and 5,000 people bed down on the streets on any given night, a figure that has almost doubled since 2010. We recognise and understand the complexities surrounding homelessness and help create a viable pathway back into the community. We build a network of support for each individual centred around a place to call home, providing a safe and secure platform from which that person can flourish.

What We Do

Development

Our developments are truly bespoke and underpin a wider demand on a local government or person specific basis. Once a need is established, we source properties that meet the very specific needs of our tenant groups, considering property type, location, support network, transport links and local authority support.

Our expert teams of architects, surveyors, project managers and contractors are highly skilled within the housing sector and work hard to deliver a robust and defect free end product.

What We Do

Bespoke Design and Build

All of our schemes are designed with specific individuals or a specific category of individuals in mind.  Predominantly identified through the care operator channel, these properties are carefully selected and designed in conjunction with the people that support the day to day management of the tenant’s lives. All stakeholders (including care workers, families, occupational therapists, local authority housing representatives) are encouraged to become part of the wider team who together ensure that the specific demands of the tenant are met.

Each development is bespoke and we maintain exceptional standards on all of our schemes in relation to fire, life and safety systems. These standards typically exceed the requirements of building regulations and offer further peace of mind for landlords and care operators. This includes enhanced fire alarm systems, temperature restricted water systems, anti-scald induction hobs and CCTV to all communal areas where required. All houses are fully statutorily approved and as a minimum meet the good homes standard.
